We give you estimates built from public information and derived data, approximations, not official figures. Your lender and any dealer you deal with set the numbers that actually count. Use our estimates as a starting point for those conversations, not as a substitute for them.

What GoodbyeLease is
An independent information service for people approaching the end of a car lease. We are not a lender, a lessor, a dealer, or a broker, and we are not affiliated with any manufacturer's finance arm.
Estimates, not guarantees
Every figure on this site, return costs, wear-and-tear charges, mileage overages, market values and equity, is an estimate derived from public information and market data. We do not have access to your lease account and cannot state your lender's official figures.
Actual amounts are determined by your lender's inspection, your contract terms, applicable taxes and fees, and market conditions at the time you act. Differences between our estimates and your final figures are expected. Always confirm with your lender in writing before making a decision.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice. Lease buyout taxation in particular varies by state. For anything binding, consult a qualified professional.
Dealer referrals
If you ask, we may introduce you to a licensed dealer in your area, and that dealer may pay us a referral fee. You are never obliged to transact with anyone we introduce, and any offer, appraisal, or contract you receive is between you and that dealer.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information, our estimates are only as good as the inputs. Don't use the site to submit other people's details without their permission, to scrape or reverse-engineer it, or for anything unlawful.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on our estimates or from your dealings with third parties.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
